George's Burgers located on Lincoln Blvd just north of WHOLE FOODS in Santa Monica has been a favorite for three decades. The inside could be cleaner, but the volume of customers is heavy and they have the same reliable menu since I have been going there since 1994. I always get a hot dog with everything except ketchup and the Hamburger Special with French Fries and a cold drink. A friend ordered the Swiss Burger with Avocado and both were hot and cooked to order. There hours have changed as they close around 8:30 pm but they never turn anyone away. The help is stellar and happy to serve you and you do get free refills on the fountain. The total bill was a shade under $30 and while the prices have increased, the value remains the same. There are few places that have the longevity or loyalty of George's Burgers and they cater to families on a budget. Do as the Romans do, when in Santa Monica, stop at George's for breakfast or lunch and get there early on Saturday or Sunday mornings if you want to secure a seat! George's is a Santa Monica classic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I only had the chili cheese fries, they were decent. Better than "The Hat" but not the best. Staff was great tho!

Best carne asada burritos. These bad boy burritos are the bomb. Yes, pricey. But I've shopped around and very comparable, if not better priced than other burritos that aren't bigger and better. I usually call in my order it's ready in 15 minutes. The restaurant's dining area isn't the best place to dine in. However it's perfectly fine for pick up orders. Awesome parking lot in the back.

Best chili burger I've ever had. I also got the breakfast burger which was absolutely incredible and the chorizo breakfast burrito which was okay. Lots of beans and it drowned out the egg flavor. The menu has so many options it's crazy! It's got a classic diner feel and the service was friendly. But I'll be dreaming about the breakfast burger and chili burger till I come back

Great food and incredible service, ever since I first started coming here years ago. Here's their breakfast burrito with pastrami... crispy hash browns, fluffy scrambled eggs, tender pastrami and an out of this world pico de gallo.... even with my appetite I can barely finish one of these! Open since 1995 I have lived near this place for many years and I've driven by it countless times but for some reason I've never tried it. Given that George is also my dog's name I figured it was time that I tried it and I am so glad that I did. It's a traditional to go burger spot, but they also have breakfast and other types of sandwiches and classic comfort food. They have a large free parking lot attached so parking is easy, the menu is gigantic with fair prices, and service was super fast and friendly. Everything that we ordered was ready about 10 minutes after we placed the order, even though it was quite busy inside on a Saturday night @ 7PM. Most people get it to go, but they do have tables indoor and out. For my first visit I wanted to try some of their higher rated items so I ordered a Double Avocado Cheeseburger and a Steak Sandwich. Both were fantastic, but the Steak Sandwich was especially good. The steak did not have fat at all, was perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly as I ordered it. The fries were also a really great side dish and I was just overall very impressed with the meal. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick and casual comfort food meal, and I plan to be back in the future to try more items.

Service is fast and the people are so nice here. I always come here for the fried zucchini.

Been coming to George's for years, excellent service - shoutout to Gerardo and all the awesome cooks and servers for their attention to detail, and consistently great customer service. Their cheeseburgers are always fresh and delicious, i usually add a fried egg to mine, and you can't miss out on the perfectly seasoned fries with a side of their bomb house ranch - 10/10 The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with diner style booths located throughout. This Santa Monica staple is one of my favorites for their burgers, chicken tenders, breakfast items - and their insanely flavorful chili cheese fries. Side of ranch with everything. Love this spot and will continue coming back!
